The Bishop Challoner Catholic Federation of Schools has a distinctive identity which strives to be a living Christian family in the heart of Tower Hamlets. This is a wonderful school, a vibrant community. We celebrate our multicultural and diverse identity and one in which every child who enters this school is known and loved. We strive to ensure all our pupils and students enjoy their time at Bishop Challoner and to have a worthwhile educational experience. We seek to make them feel happy, safe, secure and to grow in God’s love so that when they leave the school they are equipped to cope and deal with the world and make it a better place. We firmly believe that our parents are the prime educators and that our success is a result of collaboration between parents, school and child working together for the good of the child.

Our parents are encouraged to be fully engaged in their children’s education and there are many opportunities for parents to visit the school and to contribute to child’s adult information and success.

Bishop Challoner has a unique set up. We have an all-boys school and an all-girls school sharing the same site. This allows us to excel in the development of young men and women within context of single sex education as well as opportunities to share learning experiences.

At the heart of what we are trying to do is to ensure that every single child has the chance to be the best that they can be.
